Building your product or interface with Impala is incredibly simple. Our API is a modern, industry-standard RESTful JSON API.

Creating a new account
To get started with Impala, you will need to sign up for a new account, An Impala account is completely free for the vast majority of users and will allow you to build against our test hotel, The Charleston.

Please make sure that you provide the most relevant contact details, as these are the contact details that we will use, should we need to contact you. This will also be the designated account owner.
Getting started with The Charleston hotel
Once you have created your account, until you have set the console to 'Live' you will have access to the Charleston hotel under "Hotels"
If you want to review which endpoints we support we also have a direct link to our API documentation located in "DOCUMENTATION" in the top left corner of the management console.

Once you are confident with our API, we recommend that you connect your product or interface to our test hotel and ensure that your application works correctly with The Charleston data sets.
Requesting your first property
When you are ready to request your first property, you will need to activate the Live environment. You can do this by clicking on TEST as shown in the below screenshot:
Next, go to HOTELS and REQUEST ACCESS TO HOTEL. Once we have received your request to add a new hotel. One of our onboarding engineers will reach out to you for the next steps in the hotel onboarding process.
